Providing alcohol can be a big draw for development events, but did you know it can also increase your audience base as well as attendance numbers for mission-based education programs? This session will help you determine whether alcohol should be the main feature or an added attraction, which forms are appropriate for your garden and program, and how to tie the finished product back to the underlying botany, ecology, and social history of the raw ingredients. We will also discuss concerns such as liability exposure, regulatory agency involvement, serving considerations, and even potential partnerships with breweries, wineries, and distilleries in your area.
