Learn about new botanical gardens projects under development in Fort Collins, Pittsburgh, and Santa Fe, cities of diverse populations, geographic regions, and cultural histories. Executive Directors from these institutions will discuss strategies for securing capital campaign dollars while building operating support, creating a distinctive brand, and fostering local audience engagement while attracting tourists. They will explore lessons learned regarding balancing internal staffing and program growth, managing board and community expectations, and external program deliverables to the community and visitors.
