Join your colleagues for an evening of art, history, and horticulture at Sherman Library & Gardens in Corona del Mar California, “the Crown of the Sea.” Enjoy an evening that showcases all that The Sherman has to offer. From the historical holdings and collection of California impressionist art to the artistic and colorful grounds dubbed the “Sissinghurst of the West Coast,” Sherman Library & Gardens will not disappoint.

Upon your red carpet arrival you will be transported back in time as you explore select archival holdings relating to Moses H. Sherman, the Sherman Companies and the role they played in the development of Southern California. Exclusive access to the Sherman Library will be available in small group tours where you can view the collection of California impressionist art including works by William Wendt, Edgar Payne, and Rex Brandt.

After spending time exploring the roots of the Sherman Library it will be time to enjoy the blooms and beauty of the 2.2-acre botanic garden as the sun sets on the Chic hamlet of Corona del Mar. The theme and mood of the evening will shift from the grace and elegance of the past to chill beach party vibe of coastal California living.

Executive Chef Pascal Olhats has cultivated a creative menu to match the evening focusing on locally grown and sourced ingredients to create a true garden fusion. The final ingredient in any great California beach party is the time spent around the fire pit where we can drink, dance, and sing until the final log burns away and smoke rises to signal the end of another great day in the Golden State! 

This event is only open to garden Directors, Presidents, CEOs, and their guests.
