Start your afternoon by touring The Lost World, a private garden transformed into a tropical oasis. This nearly two-acre garden is nestled into the city of Anaheim Hills. An impressive collection of palms, cycads, bromeliads, tillandsias, and philodendrons all give this garden a lush feel. Homeowner Pat Mahoney, an arborist, blended his long time love of palms and cycads into this intensely planted paradise beginning in 1995.

The next visit will be Crystal Cove State Park, a gorgeous park located along the coastline in Orange County. Learn how California State Parks manages their natural resources, specifically the native and non-native flora. Enjoy a brief talk about habitat restoration and invasive species removal. Afterwards enjoy a walk into the El Moro canyon area with a park naturalist to see the native coastal sage scrub habitat. Finish off your day with a visit to Casa Romantica.

Lunch is provided on this tour.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This tour will eventually end up at Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens. For those who do not plan to attend the evening reception at Casa Romantica and would like to head back to the Disneyland Resort, a bus will be provided that will leave shortly after arriving at Casa Romantica. For those who have pre-registered and plan to attend the evening reception at Casa Romantica, transportation will be provided back to the Disneyland Resort following the event. These buses will depart at 8:30 p.m.
