Presenters will lay out three case study examples to cover the basics from start to finish of 1) how to curate and mount your own exhibition, especially focusing on management and production tips of doing the exhibit with a small staff, small budget, and short time frame; 2) how to work with an art society like American Society of Botanical Artists to let an outside organization manage the show using the garden as the display venue; and 3) how a public garden and an outside organization collaborate to share responsibilities for organizing, managing, and producing/mounting an art show in a public garden.
