Visitors want to see new plants and creative, cutting edge planting designs. Panelists will share techniques to add artistry and innovation to their gardens, including layering with bulbs, annuals, perennials, and biennials for continuous bloom; building longevity and flexibility into the display; selecting a diverse plant palate; and using color theory as a jumping off point to design displays. They will also discuss using elements and principles of design as a tool to critically evaluate displays throughout the season. Be empowered to shake up your design ideas, critically assess your displays using the principles and elements of design, and gain inspiration from the wonder, beauty and diversity of plants!
