Graphic design is the process of visual communication and problem-solving using a combination of typography, photography, and illustration. At public gardens design spans many disciplines and includes event materials, interpretive signage, websites, brochures, emails, maps, and newsletters. Gardens contain inherent beauty within their physical spaces, but sometimes lack beauty in the design of their visual communications. Having a well-thought-out, effective, and cohesive strategy to your design pieces is essential to bringing your garden to the next level. In this session, learn ways to implement great graphic design at your garden for three different budgets: small, medium, and large. Also, discover the ins and outs of working with or supervising designers.
