Native seed is in high demand, but the availability of suitable product varies. Habitat restoration and other conservation efforts rely heavily on appropriately sourced propagules. How can we begin to meet the challenge of developing adequate seed stock to supply landscape level projects? Learn what local initiatives have done to begin addressing needs for and promoting the use of appropriate native plant materials. A panel discussion will present examples from botanical garden and university programs that have risen to the challenge.
